VERP
VERP's main goal is about giving a fresh perspective to female characters in film and TV stories. Until now, some female characters have been portrayed in ways that just don't do them justice – they are stuck in stereotypes or always ending up as victims. VERP stands for Voice-Engine, Reframing, and Playpen, which are three different ways we're researching how to develop work. Our mission? to make sure those underrepresented female voices get heard.
Nowadays, with AI churning out so much content, thinking up truly original stories and characters can feel like a tough task. VERP is not just about telling stories – it’s also pushing back against the growing influence of AI in screenwriting.
VERP wants to make sure there's still room for real, authentic voices and diverse stories, especially those centered around women
Voice Engine
